What You’ll Do
- Backend Development (Java/Spring Boot): Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and microservices; integrate with both legacy systems and more modern APIs
- Frontend Engineering (React): Develop responsive, user-centric SPAs with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Implement Docker-based containers and build automated pipelines with Jenkins.
- Database Work: Write and optimize SQL queries
- Systems Maintenance: Support Linux servers and assist with minor IBMi (AS/400) administration tasks.
- Ancillary Development: Contribute Python and Rust for scripts or tooling.
- AI & CV Projects (Bonus): Implement and deploy ML/CV models (TensorFlow, OpenCV, Ultralytics) in production settings.
Requirements
- 5+ years Java (Spring Boot) and React experience
- Proficiency with Docker & Jenkins CI/CD
- Strong SQL database skills (DB2 is a plus)
- Linux server administration; some IBMi experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Python & Rust development experience
- Familiarity deploying ML/CV solutions (TensorFlow, OpenCV, Ultralytics)
- Experience working with industrial systems/external APIs (e.g., Körber, CubiScan)
