Responsibilities
Check drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and discrepancies in our construction projects, which include quick-serve restaurants, hotels, and other franchised facilities.
Assist with issue identification, resolution, and providing schedule updates to Ownership.
Manage continuous improvement for the on-site museum and other Iowa 80 Group facilities.
Verifying Quick Serve Restaurant and hotel compliance with franchise guidelines and assisting managers to be compliant.
Report to supervisors and owners on progress, project deadlines, and extensions, based on data from site supervisors and other external contractors.
Works with and on behalf of the owner, as the Owner's Representative, assisting with and managing certain aspects of multiple projects and expansions.
Protects company assets.
Uses discretion and keeps information confidential.
Organizes work to mitigate delays and ensures timely meeting of deadlines.
Requirements
Construction Management Degree or project management experience
PMI certification is a plus, but not required.
Ability to read detailed civil blueprints.
Experience with AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design software, and civil engineering
Enthusiasm toward learning
Experience managing multiple projects to budget and on schedule.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team of people.
Detail-oriented and concerned with accuracy and correctness.
